*We Cannot Cross The Sea, By Just Staring At The Water*

This picture was taken in September 2009 in the Science Museum in London. I took this picture because it looked very interesting. It is actually a block of ice and when you sprinkle water on it and magnify it, it looks like this; freezing water.The quote I have chosen for this image means that not everything is as easy as it looks. You may think that you can cross the sea when you look at it from a distance. But when it is magnified it is full of complicated paths. One thing I noticed when looking at this image is the date. It is significant because the numbers are 999; the emergency number. So if you get caught up in all the complications of the water, call for help. All of the sections link together and it is a natural thing. The only thing that makes it seem unnatural is the fact it is magnified and you do not see this when you look at cold water or ice. :)
